Alicia Robertshaw is a full-time online English-language teacher, wife, writer, and ed-tech designer. She's been working on the brillingo project since 2013 and has a lot of future ideas up her sleeves: all about making English language learning fun, accessible, and BETTER.

Our Story
Here at brillingo, we are working to create a future where online English learning is accessible to all, useful, enjoyable and an integral part of your everyday life - where learning a language is as much a part of life as enjoying a cup of coffee or calling a friend.
We've created a self-study service so that we can help English learners everywhere to start learning and improving their English regularly by using topics that interest them personally. No more one-size-fits-all textbooks and no more wasting time searching for articles and exercises!
brillingo is all about helping you to put the LIFE back into your English learning. You can enjoy articles, videos, and podcasts connected to your hobbies and interests, and learn English at the same time. Guilt-free time-wasting at last!
